Colin Eagen, Founder and Principal
Colin founded E Group in 1983. Over the next 3 decades, his vision and sales acumen fueled our growth and success. Initially serving as a regional sales office for Jostens Corporate Recognition division, E Group was quick to develop proprietary applications and programs to better serve the needs of our expanding client base. By 1999, E Group was a thriving promotional agency serving the Fortune 500, the Federal Government and the Association markets.
Colin’s passion for the recognition industry and his extensive sales experience make him a recognized leader in the industry. He’s a graduate of Shippensburg University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. Colin and his wife Stacy reside in Reston, Virginia with daughters Tayler and Maddy.
Cynthia Miller, President
Cynthia joined E Group in 1996, to direct the company’s marketing efforts and execute key client campaigns. Under her direction, the company successfully launched additional brands, including STAR Products (our global sourcing company) and Chesapeake Mint (our proprietary medallic line). In 2006, she assumed the role of President. She also acts as Chief Marketing Officer, providing strategic direction for the enterprise.
Prior to joining E Group, Cynthia worked extensively in political marketing. She is an honors graduate of the University of Maryland. She resides in Maryland, and enjoys downtime with her family at their home in Maine.
Hans Zeigler, COO and CFO
In 2009, Hans joined the E Group, assuming oversight of Finance, Accounting and Operations. With expertise across multiple environments (including technical services, manufacturing, sales and distribution), Hans brought a wealth of C-level experience to his role. Under his direction, E Group has streamlined operations significantly and strengthened its financial standing.
Hans received his BA in Economics and Financial Management from Catholic University and his MBA from the Owen School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He resides in Frederick MD with his wife, Tris and children Taryn, Aubrey and Quinn.
Frank Leonard, VP, Business Development
Since joining the E Group in 1992 as Business Development Manager, Frank has grown an impressive portfolio of Fortune 1000 and Federal Government accounts. In his role as VP, Business Development, he frequently provides mentoring and coaching to new sales talent.
Prior to joining the E Group, Frank was an award winning sales rep for Burlington Industries. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Frank resides in Fairfax, VA with his wife Linda and sons Frank and Paul.
Chris Heyn, Director, Global Sourcing
Chris began her professional career working for The Ritz-Carlton. Known for their exceptional training and unparalleled service standards, Chris still exemplifies their impeccable service philosophy in her role at E Group.
Chris is responsible for general management of STAR Products, our direct global sourcing company. In addition to working directly with our premier manufacturers overseas, she provides E Group and a select network of distributors with imported custom product and packaging solutions. Chris lives in Ashburn, VA with her husband Nigel, and daughters Alex and Lizzie.
Dan Lawton, General Management, Strategic Fulfillment Services
With more than 25 years of executive level experience in the fulfillment and distribution industry, Dan’s expertise is invaluable in providing oversight and management to E Group’s fulfillment operations, now located in Frederick Maryland.
Dan and his staff ensure that inventory management, product fulfillment and call center operations work seamlessly together to deliver fully integrated E Commerce solutions to our clients. Dan is a graduate of Columbia University, Dan resides in the city of Frederick wife his wife and four kids.
